Bella’s Custom Cakes did an AMAZING job on our wedding cake in May! She made it an easy process from start to finish and the design was perfect to what we wanted! Everyone at the reception kept commenting on how delicious the cake was and wanted to know where it was made. The buttercream icing was superb!!!! Not to mention, it looked absolutely beautiful with the background of our wedding at the Watermen’s Museum and we loved the shells that were added! We will definitely use her again and will recommend her to all of our family and friends! We can’t thank you enough for being a part of our special day!!! Dave and Tina Muron

10/10 would recommend booking all your cake needs with Bella’s Custom Cakes! We booked Anna to do our wedding cake for our wedding on October 1st. We did a tasting at home which was so convenient for my husband and I’s crazy work schedules! She had multiple cake options for us to try along with various fillings! We already knew what flavors we wanted, but it was nice to try others just incase we changed our minds! The different cakes were so flavorful and moist and the buttercream frosting was to die for! I get nervous about buttercream frosting because it can sometimes be too sweet depending on where you go, but Anna has the recipe for the perfect frosting. It’s not too sweet at all! She was amazing to work with and made our cake exactly how we wanted it! She even called a day before just to check we had everything we needed for the cake (base, florals, etc.) when I told her we didn’t have florals for the cake, she told me that she had a few florals around and would add them! Great customer service and answered all of our questions promptly! Calling or texting is the best way to contact her because of how busy she is (for any future customers needing to get ahold of her). We plan to work with Anna again for all of our special events! Thank you again for our beautiful cake!

Where do I start? I literally asked my son to google a bakery in our area while I was driving on a Thursday (Late in the afternoon). I knew it was too late to order a birthday cake but I figured I may be able to pick up some cupcakes the next day for my husbands birthday. Everything was so last minute and I just wanted (his favorite) carrot cake made from scratch somewhere. When I called Bella's I was greeted with the the sweetest and most welcoming voice ever (Miss Anna). I asked her if she would possibly have any carrot cake cupcakes the next day because I was positive it was too late to place an order. The first thing she said was "It's not to late!". I told her I just wanted a small carrot cake and without hesitation she said I could pick it up the next day by 2pm! I was already sold by her AMAZING customer service and great reviews. I almost didn't care how the cake came out! Lol. The next day was completely exhausting running around with my two children, picking up birthday stuff and to top it off, I wasn't feeling well at all! Miss Anna was so sweet and understanding about when I was able to come and pick up the cake and went out of her way to accommodate me! As if that wasn't enough, the little cake I ordered for my little family of four was not only bigger than I anticipated, but it was totally adorable! It was exactly what I needed to surprise my husband after a long day of work on his birthday! Finally, the cake taste amazing! It was soft and moist, and had real carrot, and raisins (I normally hate raisins) and some type of nut I think. Most importantly, my husband LOVED it! He was very happy and so was I. I would highly recommend Bella's based on the quality work alone. Everything else was a HUGE bonus! Thanks Miss Anna! You are officially my GO-TO baker! My experience with this business was nothing but pleasant! FIVE STARS!

I recently ordered a custom birthday cake from Bella's and it was fantastic! The order process was easy and the cake came out so great! Everyone loved the look and the taste was delicious! I recommend placing an order in advance! Price was reasonable and the pick up went well! I would definitely recommend!

Absolutely the best custom cake maker in the Tidewater area! I have had her create the most amazing cakes for both of my 2 daughters. They absolutely loved their cakes. They look and taste amazing. I've been so pleased with her birthday cakes That I'm going to have her create another cake real soon. I personally recommend Bella Custom Cakes for all of your cake needs, I can tell you from my past experiences that you definitely will be glad you did.

We had the absolute best experience with our wedding cake! Even though I didn’t get to meet the baker in person on my wedding day (she delivered while I was busy with everything else), she completely blew me away with what she created. The cake was stunning exactly what I had envisioned and more. We were going for a nostalgic, vintage vibe with our small elopement, something elegant but still simple, and she absolutely nailed it. Not only was it gorgeous (just look at the photos!), but it was also absolutely delicious every bite was perfection. She listened to everything we asked for and brought it to life so beautifully. I can’t recommend her enough she truly killed it and made our day that much more special.

We ordered a cake for our elopement and couldn’t have been happier! The cake was absolutely beautiful and tasted amazing. It was much bigger than I had thought as well, so I think the value is spot on! There was a slight issue with pickup, as Anna forgot about our order, but she handled it with professionalism and delivered our cake as soon as she could! We definitely understand how crazy things can get, and she made things right so that’s what matters! I will definitely recommend Bella’s Custom Cakes in the future! 😀

I ordered my daughters birthday cake that I needed within a week of ordering. It was ready the day I needed it but just a couple hours later than expected which is no big deal. Just pretty much said “hey need a cake, feeding 4, kids birthday, strawberry cake with purple icing” and I was very happy with the outcome. Worth the money. Will be ordering from her again.
